So awesome to find a new route up the mountains behind my house. I’ve lived here 15 years, but I don’t know the roads north of here very well since there’s only houses in that direction. Plus many roads will dead-end about half way up, and there is only one connector road east-west once you’re most of the way up. There is nothing but inaccessible wilderness and mountain ranges beyond these mountains, no dirt roads, nothing!
The funny part about this new route I ‘discovered’? It’s actually a posted bike route with signs everywhere that I’ve seen for years, just never rode it, cause I didn’t know where it actually went, and assumed it led to another dead end.
