View from a bridge

I cross this bridge about half the time when I ride. It’s a few blocks from my house. This is looking at Mt. Baker, USA from the Pitt River Bridge in Port Coquitlam, Canada. It’s about 60 miles away. Click the pic to enlarge and you will actually see the mountain.

Looking north (northeast) up the river. ALL of our mountains in Vancouver and the burbs are to the north, so where ever I am in the world, I always assume that if I’m facing a mountain range, I must be looking north!

And looking northwest back at Port Coquitlam, with Eagle Mountain in Coquitlam beyond.

20.9 miles, 497 feet, 11.5mph. Riding slow so I won’t aggravate a healing muscle group that feels fine when I ride, but I still walk with a lot of pain.
